 The process began with an extensive art brief (which I can't post here as it will utterly ruin the story) but it involves the hero of our story, Charlie Weaver, a mystical book in a magical room, and of course, a DEMON! The truly fantastic Santiago Montiel created from my works, a few concept pieces.   "Charlie Weaver is a small, thin, twelve year old boy who has a black cat called Sampson."  "The pedestal looks like a gnarled old tree..."  The demon in the story had to be scary...But not TOO scary.  Finally, the finished black and white art was done... |
